Marian boys and girls, Lady Wreckers win
The Marian boys and girls both picked up wins on the hardwood on Monday night, while the Weatherly girls won their second game in a row.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Pius X-Marian
Marian avenged a loss from earlier in the month by defeating Pius X at home, 61-50 in non-league play.
Chris Barletta led the Colts (10-3) with a game-high 22 points, including 14 in the first half. Teammate Ryan Gimbi added 16.
Marian won the JV game as well, 44-18.

Alex Guyn netted 12 points to lead the Indians. D.J. Rossino added nine.

A slow start by the Lady Indians put them 10 points down by halftime and they never recovered in a 53-42 loss to Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg.
Jordyn Homyak had a game high 24 points for Lehighton, while Angelica Bertola scored a team-high 19 points and Amanda Smith added 17 for Notre Dame.
Notre Dame also won the JV game, 53-31.

Pine Grove jumped out to a 29-9 halftime lead and never looked back, as the Cardinals beat up on Panther Valley 58-20.
The Cardinals had three players score in double figures and were led by Kaylin Ryan's 15 points.
MaryJane Thomas was the Panthers' leading scorer with seven points.
