Car, farm tractor collide in Schuylkill

A car and farm-tractor collided along a Schuylkill County roadway on Wednesday with both drivers blaming the other for the crash.

State police at Frackville said Ralph Bley, 31, of Ringtown, was driving a 1986 Case model farm-tractor eastbound on Phinneyville Road, east of Route 924 in East Union Township about 12:15 p.m. Bley was towing a Disc and Packer unit assemblies.

Nancy Donatacci, 61, of Ringtown, was drivng a 2002 Ford Mustang and claimed Bley's tractor was partially traveling in her lane and impacted her vehicle. Bley claimed Donatacci did not slow down upon approaching his tractor and that he was unable to avoid hitting the Mustang.

Donatacci reported she was injured and was taken by Shenandoah ambulance to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale. Bley was not injured.

Troopers said both vehicles sustained heavy damages and had to be towed.
