Celebrating 91 years

Mary Ann (Gatz) Bazules, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, celebrated her 91st birthday on Saturday. She was born Feb. 12 in Old Forge in 1920. She also resided in Centereach, Long Island and Brodheadsville.

Mary worked for American Airlines at LaGuardia Airport. She was married to her husband, Paul, for 50 years until his passing. Mary has two sons, George of Brodheadsville and Paul of North Carolina. She is the proud grandmother of Paula and great-grandmother of James and Thomas.

Mary is an avid bowler and belonged to a league for 20 years. She also traveled the continental U.S. with her husband after retiring.

Mary is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Long Island.
