Receives Schuylkill vocal scholarship

Steven Christ, a senior at Tamaqua High School, has been selected as the 2011 winner of the Schuylkill County Chorus Vocal Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded annually by the Schuylkill County Choral Director's Association to a deserving senior vocalist in Schuykill County that is planning to pursue a career in music.

Steven plans to attend Lebanon Valley College this fall as a Music Education Major.

Steven is the son of Mark and Audrey Christ of Hometown.
