Sean Bernard and Erin Carnish
James and Kathryn Carnish of Tamaqua have announced the engagement of their daughter, Erin Carnish, to Sean Bernard, son of William and Christine Bernard of Oaklyn, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Hometown. In 2007 she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania; and in 2011, she graduated from the Jefferson Medical College, as a medical doctor.
She will begin her internal medicine residency at the Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, in June 2011.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Haddon Township High School and a 2009 graduate of Rutgers University.
He is currently working toward a master's degree in management at Stevens Institute of Technology.
He is employed by Lockheed Martin as a systems analyst.
The couple is planning an Oct. 15, 2011 wedding.
