Summit Hill police report incidents

Summit Hill police have charged the following people as a result of incidents in the borough.

• Nadine Leibensperger, 28, of West Hazard Street, was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment on March 19. Police were called to a residence for an alleged assault of a female.

When police tried to take Leibensperger into custody, she resisted.

• Ricky Andrew, 34, of Mill Street, Nesquehoning, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation.

On Nov. 11, police saw a vehicle that failed to stop at a posted stop sign.

During the traffic stop, police smelled marijuana on Andrew.
