Car drifts into another vehicle

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Cressona Mall, North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Andrew J. McNulty, of Cressona, told troopers he parked his 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck in a lot at the mall about 1:33 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, and placed it in park and put the brake on. The vehicle drifted forward and struck the parked 2003 Oldsmobile Alero owned by Mildred P. Mikulski, of Mt. Carmel.

McNulty reported he was having problems with his emergency brake prior to the accident.

Damages were minor to both vehicles, troopers said.
