Man charged with DUI in Slatington

Robert Davis, 30, of Ambler, has been arrested by Slatington police for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.

Police said he was stopped for a traffic violation at 5:29 a.m. Jan. 5 in the 0-100 block of Main Street, after which time police found him to be under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center for a blood test. It was determined his blood-alcohol level was .16 percent.

In addition to the DUI charge, Davis was issued a citation for speeding.
