Incidents at ski resort probed

State police at Lehighton reported on several incidents that occurred at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Michael Douglas Fulmer, 18, of Easton, is facing a charge of receiving stolen property for an incident that occurred about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Troopers said Fulmer was found to be in possession of a stolen Atomic Triarc 159-inch snowboard. He was observed with the snowboard by the victim, a 16-year-old male from Kunkletown, while he was on a ski lift at the resort.

A 16-year-old male employee of the resort was involvedin a theft incident on Jan. 8 at 3 p.m. The teen took the Apple iPhone of a 16-year-old male. The teen confessed to the theft and returned the phone to the victim. Troopers said the victim did not wish to pursue the criminal charges.

A 13-year-old male from Bath reported the theft of his Nitro Subzero snowboard. It was taken from the lower lodge area sometime between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 9 while it was against a wall at the lodge.
