Coaldale police report released

Coaldale Police Chief Tim Delaney has released his 2010 report:

Police handled eight assaults, 12 burglaries and two larcenies.

They also dealt with 55 cases of disorderly conduct; 37 cases of driving under the influence; 13 drug offenses; eight cases each of stolen property and vandalism; six sex offenses; three cases each of fraud, liquor violations, family disputes and weapons offenses; two cases of forgery and 47 miscellaneous cases.

The police department handled a total of 2,116 calls for service, of which 148 resulted in cases. Police handled a total of 154 cases; 90 arrestees; 23 suspects; 40 victims; 37 DUI arrests; 275 traffic citations; 52 nontraffic citations and 22 warnings.
