Two arrested for DUI in Lehigh
Two drivers were arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in separate incidents in Lehigh County.
State police at Fogelsville said about 8:23 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, Julius Racz, 29, of Breinigsville, was stopped operating a 2000 Saturn sedan along Hamilton Blvd., near Krocks Rd., in Lower Macungie Township, for a vehicle code violation. At the stop Racz was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then placed under arrest for DUI and taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
On Sunday, Jan. 23, at 3:18 a.m. Andrew McCauley, 42, of New Tripoli, was stopped along SR100 near Schantz Rd., in Upper Macungie Township, was stopped after being observed driving erratically. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI and motor vehicle code violations.
