Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 16 along SR3016 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Jose A. Gago Jr., 31, of Mt. Pocono, was driving a 1995 Nissan Altima too fast when it crashed into the guide rail and came to rest.

Gago and passengers Maria M. Flores, Frankie Velez, Kimberly Velez and Kimara Gago, all of the Tobyhanna area, were all not injured.

Gago was cited for careless driving and for not having a child properly secured in a child safety seat.
