Monroe man facing charges

A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Friday, Jan. 28, about 12:09 a.m.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were called to Skyline Drive in Blakeslee for a complaint of criminal mischief to a vehicle which had been caught on video.

As the result of an investigation officers charged Kirk Bontempo, 47, of Blakeslee, with criminal mischief to a vehicle, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police allege he threw a chunk of ice at a neighbor's vehicle causing damage to the windshield.
