Jailed after assaulting officer

Kelly Kimik Boyle, 48, of Apt. B, 672 W. Franklin St., Slatington, has been committed to the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, after an assault on a police officer in that borough.

Police said the defendant was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault on a police officer, simple assault, resisting arrest, recklessly endangering another person and harassment and jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The incident happened at 1:25 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at the defendant's residence. The investigating officers are Daniel Buglio and Rebecca Saborsky.
