Carbon driver facing DUI count

A Carbon County driver is facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and illegal drug possession following an incident about 7:41 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, along SR248 in Parryville.

State police at Lehighton said Gary Lee Bruch, 56, of Palmerton, was stopped for several motor vehicle code violations. Troopers said Bruch was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was placed under arrest for DUI and also possession of a small amount of a controlled susbstance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
