Fall suit
Erica Harrison, parent and natural guardian of Andres Nisen, 322 W. Ridge St., Lansford, filed a civil complaint against Deanna J. Renzo, 428 E. Front St., Lansford.
The suit states on April 29, 2008, Andres Nisen was riding a "razor scooter" on a sidwalk at 2 E. Ridge St., Lansford, and rounding a curve when the wheel of the scooter caught on a metal door which was used for access to a basement at 2 E. Ridge St. causing Nisen to fall and sustained injuries detailed in the suit. The defendant is the owner of the property at 2 E. Ridge St., the suit charges.
Negligence for the accident is alleged and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of two counts.

Seeks damages
Heather Embrey, 283 Little Gap Rd., Palmerton, filed a civil complaint against Trajam Inc., dba, Bert's Steakhouse and Restaurant, 416 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
The suit states on Aug. 2, 2010, Embrey was at the restaurant and walking from the main dining room to the "banquet hall" when she stepped on an area of flooring which surface was allegedly deteriorate causing her to fall and sustained injuries detailed in the suit.
Negligence is alleged and sought are damages in excess of "the compulsory arbitration limits plus delay damages and costs."
