Named to dean's list

Alexandra Wargo Nichols of Penn Forest Township, Jim Thorpe, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at USciences Philadelphia. Students achieving this status must have attained a semester GPA of 3.40 or above.

Alexandra is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in the physician assistant program.

A 2008 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School, Alexandra is a laboratory assistant in the USciences biology lab, a nurse assistant volunteer at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, a member of the chorus and chamber choir, and also serves as a guide for prospective students.

She is the daughter of Audrey Wargo of Penn Forest Township, and Martin Nichols, and the granddaughter of Mary P. Wargo of Penn Forest Township.
