Registration plate reported stolen

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a vehicle registration plate.

Giffin Wagner, of Brodheadsville, reported the plate from his 2007 Dodge minivan was stolen while it was parked in the lot of the American Legion Post located along SR209 and Fairgrounds Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The plate was taken sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. on Jan. 16.

The plate number is HKV8053.
