Tamaqua man cited for trespass

Tamaqua police have cited Jeremy F. Lockwitch, 22, of 124 Penn St., Tamaqua, following a Jan. 31 incident on Hunter Street.

Officers were dispatched to 201 Hunter St. at 6:43 p.m. for a reported disturbance. At the scene they found Lockwitch, who refused to leave the premises despite repeated warnings. Lockwitch started to follow the officer's orders to leave then decided to retrace his steps and begin an argument with the officer.

He was taken into custody and issued a citation for simple trespass.
