Police dealing with alleged scofflaws
Lansford police have been busy dealing with a number of alleged scofflaws.
Traffic citations have been issued to the following people:
Anthony Napolitano, 25, of 13 N. Walnut St., Lansford, for driving under suspension on Jan. 21 at 3:14 a.m. at Dock and Walnut streets; Jonathon Weiss, 23, of 508 Faith Drive, Norristown, Bucks County, for operating a vehicle with an expired registration on Jan. 25 at 1:15 p.m. on the 100 block of E. Abbott Street; Joshua Binder, 47, of 118 Old Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Ohio, for (failing to obey) traffic control devices on Jan. 28 at 5:54 p.m. at Springgarden and Bertsch street.
Also, Frank Tongue, 45, of 103 Lansford Court, for careless driving, overtaking a vehicle on the right, following too closely, and driving a vehicle at a safe speed on Jan. 21 at 4:32 p.m. on the 100 block of W. Patterson Street; William Buckley, 49, of 11 N. School St., Nesquehoning, for general lighting requirements on Jan. 16 at 9:12 p.m. on the 700 block of E. Patterson Street.
Non-traffic citations were issued to Lorraine Kofchock, 60, of 340 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford, for public drunkenness on Jan. 27 at 2:20 p.m. outside 342 W. Snyder Ave.; Dale Miles, 55, of 430 E. Bertsch St., Apt. 208, Lansford, and Edward Brown, 56, of 430 E. Bertsch St. Apt. 516, Lansford, both for harassment on Feb. 4 at 2:20 p.m. at 430 E. Bertsch St.
