Property owners cited in Lehighton

Three property owners were cited by Lehighton police for failing to remove snow/ice from their sidewalks.

Cited were Matthew Kichline, 174 S. Second St., rear, for property located on S. Second St., between Gary's Barber Shop and Keystone Jewelers; Marie Schneider, 186 S. Second St., for property at that address; and Beneficial Consumer Discount Co., 961 Weigel Drive, Elmhurst, Ill., for property located at 640 Cypress St.

Property owners are reminded to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within 24 hours after the snow or ice has ceased to fall or form.
