Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two-vehicle crash in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said the crash occurred about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, along SR209 at the intersection with SR115. Troopers said Shayann N. Schwartz, 17, of Palmerton, was stopped in the northbound lane to turn left while Frank B. Kresge, 62, of Wind Gap, was southbound. Schwartz said she thought she had enough room to turn and started to turn. The front of her 2002 Chrysler struck Kresge's 2009 Toyota Sienna. After impact the Toyota veered to the right and came to rest in front of the traffic light pole. The Chrysler spun around and came to rest facing east. Schwartz and passenger Alyssa D. Ulrich, 17, of Brodheadsville, and Kresge, were all not injured. Troopers cited Schwartz for vehicle turning left.
