Fillies defeat Redeemer

Marian picked up a win over District 2 Class AAA power Holy Redeemer in a non-league girls basketball game on Thursday.

Marian closed the regular season out with a 41-38 non-conference victory on the road over Holy Redeemer.

Danielle Tristani led the Fillies (19-3 overall) with a team-high 13 points. Kaysi McLaughlin used her perimeter shooting to hit four triples and finish with 12 points.

Olivia Francisco led the Royals (16-6) with 14 points.

In the JV game, Holy Redeemer posted a 48-34 win.

Pleasant Valley finished its regular season undefeated at 20-0 with a 46-42 overtime victory over ES North.

Elijah Gonzalez led the Bears with 13 points. Isaiah Johnson and Eric Mikulski added 12 and nine points respectively.
