Cuz-N-Joe's, R.R. Frey, Ryan's Oil all unbeaten

Cuz-N-Joe's Place, R.R. Frey Services and Ryan's Oil & Heating all picked up their second win in the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) Winter Basketball League.

R.R. Frey Services-

University Legendz

With under 10 seconds remaining and a chance to tie or take the lead, University Legendz turned the ball over and R.R. Frey came away with a 63-59 victory.

Dave Wilson had a monster game for R.R. Frey with a 26 points, 15 of which came in the second half. Tom Toth added 13 and Jason Derr chipped in 10.

For University Legendz, Ted Styke scored 18 points and Mike Murphy tacked on 11.

Ryan's Oil & Heating-

Gear Graphic

Ryan's Oil & Heating rolled over Gear Graphic & Design, 74-37.

Ryan's Oil & Heating connected on 11 three-pointers and placed four player in double-figures. Jeff Peel scored a game-high 20 points while Joe Schaeffer added 17 points. Jon Scheuer also netted 16 points in the win.

For Gear Graphic & Design, Bob Kreiser scored nine points.

Joe's Place-

Cuz-N-Joe's Place

With the game knotted at 22-22, Cuz-N-Joe's Place scored the first 14 points of the second half to pull away from Joe's Place, 68-46.

Joe Veet scored 20 points, while Nolan Sword netted 10 for Cuz-N-Joe's.

Matt Minnich's 14-point effort topped Joe's Place.

Sokol Club-

Midas Touch Salon

Sokol Club got its first ESRC league victory with a a 60-45 triumph over Midas Touch Hair Salon.

Dennis McGinley drained four three-pointers and led Sokol Club with 19 points. Steve Haldeman tallied 16 points while Brad Hurley knocked down 11.

Steve Nesgoda scored 12 points for Midas Touch Hair Salon.
