Theft at Monroe business probed
State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident at a Monroe County business.
Troopers said unknown persons removed two quart size bottles of St. Ides brand beer from a cooler at the Jonas Hotel, in Polk Township, without paying for them. The incident was reported at 8 p.m. on Feb. 24.
