Slatington driver facing charges

A Slatington driver is facing charges.

Borough police said William Hughes, 32, of 729 Main St., Apt. 3, is facing charges of reckless endangering, simple assault and careless driving.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Monday, Feb. 28, about 8:08 p.m. at Main and N. Walnut sts. Police said Hughes was involved in an accident in which a pedestrian was struck. Police gave no other details of the accident.
