Historical society meeting

The Polk Township Historical Society will meet on Monday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township Municipal Building in Kresgeville. The evening's speaker will be society member, Joe Horn, who will present the history of the Western Union Telegraph Company and share memories from his 23-year career with the company.

Hope Fellowship Mission of Seventh Day Adventists will have all sizes of jeans, jackets, sweater and more available for those in need. Hours will be on Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Some canned goods will also be available.

Free bread is given out every Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Family Fun Night

Polk Elementary will have a family fun night on Friday, March 4 from 6-8 p.m. in the school gym. All students of Polk and their families are welcome to attend.
