Man charged in stabbing
A Monroe County resident has been charged in a stabbing incident, according to state police at Lehighton.
In a press release troopers said Travis Beers, 35, of Kunkletown, has been charged with aggravated and simple assault, harassment and possession of a controlled substance.
The release states Beers is charged with stabbing Paul Kern, 56, of Saylorsburg, about 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at Box 603A, A1, in Polk Township.
No other details concerning the incident or the injuries sustained by Kern were released by troopers.
