Macungie man victim of deception
State police at the Fogelsville barracks said a Macungie man was the victim of a theft by decpetion incident that happend in January when someone paid for a game system from him by giving him counterfeit bills.
The victim is Phallentz Michel, who told police he sold an X-Box Kinect game system to an unknown person for $120, later to find out the purchaser gave him counterfeit $20 bills.
The sale had been arranged on the website Craigslist.com and the two met in Lower Macungie Township to consumate the sale.
