Safe Haven Pet Rescue

Safe Haven Pet Rescue will have a volunteer meeting on Tuesday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m., at Cherry's Sunset Family Restaurant, Route 209, Kresgeville. All local animal lovers are welcome to attend.

Safe Haven Pet Rescue is a group of people based in the West End of the Poconos, who save highly adoptable pets from high-kill and overcrowded shelters and find them loving homes. The number one cause of death to cats and dogs is shelter killing.

Safe Haven needs help with dog transport, adoption days, home visits, reference checks, and other clerical help. All Safe Haven rescued dogs are in foster care now. Foster pet parents are always needed in order to save more dogs.

For more information about Safe Haven Pet Rescue, to see pets available for adoption, or to find volunteer and foster applications, visit www.SafeHavenPa.org, or e-mail SaveHaven@epix.net. Join Safe Haven, PA on Facebook.
