March 10, 2000 Lacey Gonzalez and Esther Hoffer combine for 50 points as Panther Valley cruises to a 72-45 victory over Boiling Springs in the opening round of the PIAA Class AA playoffs. Gonzalez hits for a game-high 27 while Hoffer ends with 23. The Lady Panthers, who use a 23-11 second quarter to take control of the game, also receive 13 points from Trish O'Gurek.
