Driver to be cited after crash

A Schuylkill County driver will be cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:47 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, along SR4007 (Highridge Park Road), in Cass Township.

State police at Frackville said James Leskin, 32, of Pottsville, was driving a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo westbound and going too fast for conditions as the road was icy.

He lost control of the vehicle which traveled across the eastbound lane and onto the berm.

The vehicle then struck a large rock on the south side causing it to rollover, coming to rest on its roof facing east.

Leskin sustained minor injuries in the crash, troopers said.

Troopers added that he will be cited.
