Lansford driver cited by police

A Lansford driver was cited by Nesquehoning police following ain incident that occurred on March 5.

Police Chief Sean Smith received a report of a suspicious person and vehicle in the 300 block of W. Catawissa St. Upon arrival Smith identified the person as Danny Kelly, of 34 Cortwright St., who was driving a1984 Chevrolet pickup truck.

Smith said the plate on the vehicle was suspended for insurance cancellation. Smith charged Kelly with suspended registration plate and opeartion following suspension of registration.
