Several theft incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating several theft incidents in recent days.

John Charles Falco, 55, of 13 Cornell Ave., Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone took about $150 from a jar from his unlocked home. The theft occurred sometime between 2:10 and 6 p.m. on Friday, March 18.

Ronald F. Gilbert, 72, of 120 Whispering Wood Drive, Palmerton, reported someone stole a red in color 10-inch Western brand snowplow and three sections of galvanized drain pipe from his property. The theft occurred sometime between March 13-19.

William Trumbone, 55, of Milton Lane, Vista Estates, in Saylorsburg, reported someone removed a Mio GPS from his unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, and 6 a.m. on Friday.

Christopher S. Hoagland, 30, of Maple Terrace, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported someone removed his Tom Tom GPS system, valued at $130, from his unlocked vehicle. The theft occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 6 a.m. on Friday.
