Allentown team captures SS. Peter and Paul's Tourney

St. John Vianney of Allentown defeated St.Peter's of Reading 38-36 in the championship game of the 2011 SS.Peter and Paul's of Lehighton Biddy Basketball Tournament held on Saturday at the Lehighton Middle School.

St. John Vianney finished the five-team round-robin tournament with a perfect 4-0 record. St.Peter's was 3-1; the Palmerton Youth Association was 2-2; the Jim Thorpe Olympians were 1-3; and Panther Valley Middle School was 0-4.
