Monroe man facing harassment count

A Monroe County man is facing a charge of harassment following an incident that occurred about 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, along Chestnut St., in Eldred Township.

State police at Lehighton said Steven H. Christian, 38, of Stroudsburg, is charged after he and Kathy M. Bishop, 50, of Kunkletown, had a verbal altercation that turned physical. Christian allegedly struck Bishop in the head with a closed fist, troopers said.
