Schuylkill crashes
State police at Frackville reported on two, one-vehicle crashes probed by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways recently in which charges were filed.
About 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, Mary Ann Foose, 53, of Ringtown, was driving a 1998 Jeep eastbound on Brandonville Road, in Union Township, when she lost control after a deer entered the road in front of her.
The Jeep spun clockwise and rolled over one time and came to rest on its wheels on the south berm.
Foose was not injured. The Jeep had to be towed from the scene.
She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
The second crash occurred about 6:58 a.m. on Monday, March 21, along SR443 in New Ringgold. Troopers said Kalena Miller, 21, of Scranton, was driving a 1990 Buick southbound when she lost control of the wet roadway.
The car spun in a counter-clockwise direction and struck an embankment along the east berm where it came to rest.
Miller was not injured. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Troopers cited Miller for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
