Two Schuylkill County drivers are facing charges of hit and run in separate incidents that occurred on Tuesday, March 29.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the first incident occurred about 10:35 a.m. at 3017 Chestnut St., Port Carbon, in East Norwegian Township. Troopers said Kevin J. Shrawder, 40, of Carlisle, Cumberland County, was at the above- -stated address in an attempt to repossess a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta belonging to Michael A. Flickinger, 35, of Port Carbon, which was parked in the driveway of the residence.

Troopers said Flickinger jumped into the Jetta and backed out of the driveway. In doing so the Jetta struck the 2008 Dodge 5500 truck of Shrawder. Flickinger then left the scene.

Charges were filed against Flickinger with District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, troopers said.

The second hit and run occurred along SR183 (Pottsville St.), in Cressona. Troopers said Danielle E. Snyder, 18, of Cressona, was driving a 1995 Ford Taurus eastbound about 11:46 a.m. when she spilled a drink on herself and looked down. The vehicle left the road and the left front bumper struck several bushes.

Snyder backed the vehicle onto the road and left the scene. Charges were filed against her with District Judge James Ferrier, of Orwigsburg, troopers said.

Troopers also reported investigating a two-vehicle crash in which one of the drivers was cited. The crash occurred about 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, along SR443 at SR645, in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Nichole Fedechko, 29, of Pine Grove, and Elaine Williams 43, also of Pine Grove, were both westbound. Williams stopped in the lane of travel waiting to turn left to go onto 645 south. Fedechko did not observe Williams turning until the last possible moment. She attempted to avoid a collision but could not with the front of her 2001 Ford Ranger pickup hitting the rear of Williams' 2004 Pontiac Grand Am.

Williams sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville. Fedechko was not injured. The Grand Am had to be towed from the scene while the Ford sustained minor damages.

Troopers said Fedechko was cited for the crash.
