Man cited for violating PFA order
A former Tamaqua man residing in Pottsville has been cited for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order after he made repeated attempts to communicate with the victim.
According to police, Angie Bravo, of 318 Lafayette St., contacted police after receiving harassing phone calls from Michael Bravo on March 22 and 23. The calls began at 6:10 a.m. on March 22, with the last one made 4:35 p.m. on March 23. Bravo also allegedly mailed a letter containing a photo, a note and a lottery ticket to the victim, which was delivered on March 29.
Bravo was cited for indirect criminal contempt of court.
