April 14, 1967 Ron Arner collects three hits, including two in one inning, and knocks in four runs to help Palmerton gain a 12-9 Lehigh Valley League win over Slatington. Arner, who also scores a run, delivers a single and double during the Bombers' eight-run second inning and later hits a two-run triple. The winners receive two hits and two RBI from Joe Valo while John Ondrasik adds a hit, two runs scored and a pair of RBI.
