Monroe woman cited by troopers

A Monroe County woman has been cited for scrattering rubbish following an incident that occurred on March 31 about 5 p.m.

State police at Lehighton said Mary Catherine Bellis, 57, of Blossom Ave., Effort, was cited for allegedly throwing household garbage into a dumpster owned by Steve's Carpet, and located along SR209 in Gilbert, Polk Townsip, Monroe County. The owner of the dumpster is Steve Dougherty, 50, of Gilbert, troopers said.
