Monroe accident involves a deer
A deer and a vehicle collided along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, on Monday, April 18, about 7:45 a.m.
State police at Fern Ridge said Maria E. Deleo, 42, of Pocono Summit, was driving a 2004 GMC Yukon sports utility vehicle eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of her. Her vehicle struck the deer.
Deleo was not injured.
