2 cited for thefts at Wal-Mart store

Rush Township police cited two people for retail theft incidents at the Hometown Commons Walmart store last week.

Candace Bylinski, of Reading was charged following an April 25 incident. She allegedly tried to remove $68.30 worth of Sharpie markers from the store.

On April 27, at 3:25 p.m., Sean A. Hedgepeth, of West Hazleton, was stopped after attempting to remove $10.60 worth of merchandise from the store. When taking Hedgepeth into custody officers discovered a small amount of marijuana in his boots. He will be cited for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
