April 26, 1989 Tamaqua rallies from three different deficits to gain a wild 15-14 win over Panther Valley. Ron Rega, who earns the pitching win in relief, goes 4-for-4 at the plate including a two-run triple. Shannon Rega also adds a two-run triple while Ed Eroh contributes two hits and knocks in three runs. The winners also receive two hits from Max Oswald while Mike Sedar drives in a pair of runs. Rega strikes out the side in the seventh to preserve the victory.
