Schuylkill driver facing charges

A Schuylkill County driver is facing charges following an incident that occurred about 11:14 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, at the Hess Express service station in Pine Grove Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers responded to the station to a report of a person unresponsive in a vehicle. Upon arrival troopers made contact wtih James C. Rehrer, 47, of Pine Grove, who was in a 1993 Ford F150 truck. He was found to be under the influence and during the investigation troopers found a small amount of marijuana on him.

Charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of a small amount of marijuana are pending.
