Schuylkill crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 10:22 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, along SR61 at the Mount Carbon "jug handle" in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Charles Noll, 57, of Pottsville, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus northbound and exited onto the jug handle. The car traveled straight through the left curve and went onto the berm. The car then impacted with a rock embankment with the right front. It then traveled about 57 feet along the embankment and came to rest along the north berm of the jug handle facing west.

Noll was not injured. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene, troopers added.
