Carbon theft incident probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident in Carbon County.

Troopers said someone removed numerous snap pins and bolts from maintenance equipment belonging to the state game commission. The incident occurred at game commission property at 4950 Pohopoco Drive, in Towamensing Township. The theft occurred sometime between April 26 and Monday, May 2.
