Theft incident at mall probed

A theft incident at the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township, is being probed.

State police at Frackville said Angela Kirwan, 86, of Pottsville, reported someone stole her purse from her shopping cart in the area of the movie theatre complex in the mall. The incident occurred between 1 and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, troopers said.
