Harassment incident reported

State police at Lehighton said a Palmerton woman has been cited for harassment for allegedly sending emails and text messages to another person.

Troopers said Maria Buccieri was charged for sending the messages, which alarmed and annoyed the victim, identified as Thomas Buccieri, 36, of 530 Firehouse Rd., in Kresgeville, Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

The incident was reported on Tuesday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m.
