Tamaqua teen cited for drinking
A 17-year-old Tamaqua male was cited for underage drinking early Saturday morning, April 30.
An officer on patrol at 12:32 a.m. observed a male walking in the area of Rowe Street, stumbling and shuffling along. The male was stopped and identified, then admitted to drinking at a house on Rowe Street.
The officer took the teen to his home, notifying the young man and his mother of the charges to be filed.
